Why OpenObserve Training Matters

Modern observability demands unified platforms that handle logs, metrics, and traces at scale — without the complexity or cost of traditional solutions like Elasticsearch, Splunk, or Datadog.

Unified data model

Logs, metrics, and traces in a single platform with consistent querying and correlation.

Drastic cost reduction

Up to 140x lower storage costs vs Elasticsearch, with S3-native architecture.

High performance

Rust-based core delivers blazing fast queries on petabytes of data.

OTEL-native

First-class OpenTelemetry support for vendor-neutral telemetry pipelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who delivers the training?

Training is delivered by Samuel Desseaux and the Erythix/Aureonis team — senior practitioners with 15+ years in observability, industrial IT, and large-scale monitoring systems for clients like Airbus, GrDF, and Total.

What format are the courses?

Instructor-led sessions delivered on-site at your premises, or remotely via video conference. Each day includes approximately 40% theory and 60% hands-on labs. All courses include lab materials and reference documentation.

How does OpenObserve compare to ELK or Splunk?

OpenObserve offers a unified platform for logs, metrics, and traces with up to 140x lower storage costs than Elasticsearch. It uses an S3-native architecture, supports SQL and PromQL queries, and is fully open-source (Apache 2.0). Our migration courses cover practical transition paths.

Are webinars really free?

Yes! All our webinars are completely free. They're designed to help teams evaluate OpenObserve, understand migration paths, and stay current with best practices. Register via the webinar section or contact us for alerts.

Can training be customised for our stack?

Absolutely. We regularly tailor content around specific migration scenarios (ELK, Splunk, Datadog), integration needs (Kubernetes, OTEL, Grafana), or industry requirements (industrial IoT, edge computing, compliance).

Is certification available?

We offer completion certificates for all courses. For formal certification, we're working with OpenObserve on an official certification programme — contact us for the latest status.
